Commission in progress :)

Here's a wee sneak peek of the commission quilt I'm working on at the minute....


Client wanted a modern style in blue, black, white, grey, brown and gold. I think this is working out ok. Trying to think how to quilt it - am wondering about a grid effect? The way the top is coming together I'll be having to decide v soon!

    I Love this block. Patterns show off their best with larger cuts. I have several pieces I am loathe to cut into and make small-this pattern may solve that problem. I like the colors you have chosen, too.

      Thanks Lynda :) Blocks are going to be 7" finished, have used a 5 1/2" square and 1 1/2" strips round them. Colours are from the client, prob wouldn't have chosen them myself but I do really like them! It is an excellent way to show off those lovely larger prints. Always hard to cut into beautiful fabric! x
